​Medical Billing Specialist

Shifts
Part time 30 hours with a review in 60 days with the option full time opportunities.
​Monday – Friday hours flexible.

Salary range: $20.00 – $24.00 DOE

The primary job responsibility of this position is to maintain the accounts receivable by submitting timely claims to medical insurance companies, invoices to contract/grant entities, entering client collections and assisting the Finance Manager with additional accounting functions.

The successful candidate will possess:
  • Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks, & Practice Management Software (EMR)
  • High School diploma or GED with 2 – 4 years’ experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Knowledge of business and accounting process usually obtained from an associate degree with a degree in Business Administration, Accounting or HealthCare Administration, Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred.
  • Demonstrate competence in accounting and budgetary matters and assist with month-end accounting cycles.
  • Perform completion of claims to payers, process claims, submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers, post charges, resolve denial instances and provide monthly reports.
  • Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided.
  • Conduct utilization review (UR) productivity audits.
  • Ability to work both independently with a minimum amount of supervision and as a team member in an office environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills necessary
  • Able to read, write and speak English with excellent verbal and written skill.

​Mental Health Tech (MHT)

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure and coordinate the consistency of
client treatment alongside addiction counselors and staff.
Shifts
Monday – Friday Day Shift 645am – 315pm
Full Benefits Package, Starting Wage $14.25


Monday – Friday Swing Shift 245pm – 1115pm
Full Benefits Package, Starting Wage $14.25


Saturday – Sunday Day Shift 645am – 715pm (12.5-hour shift)
No Benefits, Starting Wage $15.75


Saturday – Sunday Swing Shift 645pm – 715am (12.5-hour shift)

  1.  Achieve and maintain certifications in CPR and First Aid
  2. Conducts daily activities to ensure ongoing safety and security of clients
  3. Oversees the daily schedule for clients including wake/bedtimes, group times, and mealtimes
  4. Assists with community and group meetings as well as recreational activities
  5. Facilitates drug testing and breathalyzer
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality

The successful candidate will possess:
  •  Experience with Microsoft Word, interne, e-mail, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) a plus
  •  Excellent organizational and time management skills
  •  Excellent verbal and written skills
  •  Bi-lingual is a plus, but not required

Counselor – Intern (CADC-I)
Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC)
Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor (LADC)
​Certified Problem Gambling Counselor (CPGC)

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide substance abuse and / or gambling addiction counseling to individuals and their families. Work involves planning, coordinating, and implementing counseling activities with other departments, agencies, and community organizations
​to ensure the maximum utilization of resources available for treatment and rehabilitation.

Monday – Saturday Hours vary according to groups, clients, and caseload

The successful candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a social service or related field as recognized by the Board of Examiners
  • 1-2 years counseling experience with adults in the area of Substance Use Disorder (SUD), Mental Health Disorder (MHD) and Problem Gambling Disorder (PGD)
  • Experience working with a Electronic Medical Records system ( EMR)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact positively with adults in stressful circumstances
  • Bi-lingual is a plus, but not required
